MEET ANNABEL

Annabel is a recent graduate from New York University where she double majored in Journalism and Psychology. She's an expert reporter and editor — skills that she's honed through several internships and positions at student run organizations. In 2023, Annabel was selected by the Dow Jones News Fund to intern at National Mortgage News, where she reported on topics like transgender people failing credit checks and mortgage AI chatbots.

Annabel wrote "Shrinking problems," a longform journalistic honors thesis about the housing market in Flint, Michigan, throughout her senior year. NYU awarded her both the Dean's Undergraduate Research Fund grant and the Journalism Institute's Diversity Reporting grant for this project. Following this, she interned at Financial Advisor IQ, a Financial Times Specialist publication, and reported on the financial advising industry.

Annabel is now serving as the editorial fellow at Mansueto Ventures, parent company of Inc. and Fast Company, and writing for both publications.
